Temple Ruins - UE5 Cinematic Environment

This entire project was created so that I could make some useful screenshots for the Unreal training course I was building. I used it to make an example cinematic to demonstrate a shot organization template in Unreal Engine 5.4. This whole thing was done in about a day. I'm making this post about it so that I can use this page as an example in the YouTube video that I'm working on! (https://www.youtube.com/@SirWade/)

An example cinematic in the environment to show off the assets in a fun way. I used a few animation sequences to build out some basic movement for the Quinn mannequin.

There are 8 shots in total, and each has a slightly different lighting scenario.

These are the MegaScan assets I used to populate my scene. I preselected them and laid them out in their own Level to prepare for my environment work.

All of these assets are Nanite quality, and fit a general theme and color palette.

I started by blocking out a rough idea of the layout I wanted using only basic shapes.

I laid all the cool assets over the shapes and started assigning materials.

Lastly, foliage took this to a more more detail-rich world.

Here are some of those lighting scenarios - each one is just what looked best from the camera, not worrying about continuity.
